2009 is the year of new beginnings. In December I graduated from the University of Stevens Point with an Elementary and Exceptional Education degree. However, I still had a month of student teaching after that to finish my degree. I just finished student teaching a week ago and then headed to Hudson to start my long term sub position in an Autism room at the Hudson Middle School. Who would have thought that I would be teaching in the same school that I attended over 8 years ago. I am not going to lie. It took awhile to get use to calling my former teachers by their first names. My first week of work went great! I am really excited about this teaching opportunity. My parents are really happy too. I think deep down inside they like having Jason and I living with them again. I wish everyone the best! Stay warm! It is cold out there!!!!!

  1. Alissa! so you turned out a teacher huh? eh you were always good around kids...unlike me. Sarah's a first grade teacher. Is it weird living at home? I love going home and getting real food and the parents are always so happy and attentive lol. Trying to keep warm down here in the big M-O.
