10 and 11 weeks old

Mom, Dad, and I have had a lot of fun these past two weeks. I love looking at books and babble while mom is reading them. I also love being talked to and get very lonely if mom or dad walk away for a second.  I found my fists too and they sure taste good. Mom is also trying to get me to drink out of a bottle but I don't care for it very much. I still love going on walks and we have been discovering new parks, rivers, and walking paths. The neighbor girls are fun to play with too. They help mom push the stroller and love spending time with us. I also had my first play date with Bryn and Max today. We brought them donuts but mom said I was not old enough to have one yet last but not least I also went to the Mommy's cafe, a mommy and me class at the hospital.  We met a lot of new friends and are excited to go every Tuesday.

2 months old

Lucas is now 2 months old. At his dr.apt he was 11 lbs 6 oz  and 23 inches. He was a champ during the whole appointment and even calmed down after his shots quickly.  In the past couple weeks Lucas has become very alert,  watches and pays attention to objects closely,  holds his head up well while being held in the sitting position,  enjoys walks in the stroller, smiles a lot, and loves being held facing out so he can see everything. Lucas also enjoyed spending time at aunt Stacy's house a week ago visiting with grandma and grandpa Tervo,  aunt Shannon,  cousin Lanae,  Uncle Brian,  and cousins Claire and Cameron. Over the July 4th weekend we went to 2 cookout and campfires at a couple of neighbor houses. Luke also slept through all the fireworks by our house. We love spending time with our little guy and watching him grow and learn new things.
